Dr. Samantha Kotz
Dr. Samantha Kotz
DPT
Clinic Director, Physical Therapist
With more than nine years of experience as a physical therapist and a background in athletic training, Dr. Sam has extensive experience in private outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. She continues to help patients recover from orthopedic injuries, improve mobility, rebuild strength, and return to sports, work, exercise, and everyday activities. Pelvic floor physical therapy has also become an important focus of her practice, allowing her to help patients address symptoms that are often ignored, misunderstood, or left untreated for too long.
Dr. Sam helps individuals dealing with urinary and bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, core dysfunction, and other pelvic health conditions. These symptoms can affect daily comfort, confidence, intimacy, exercise, and quality of life. Waiting to address pelvic floor issues, postpartum weakness, or ongoing pain may allow symptoms to become more limiting and harder to manage over time. Dr. Sam creates a private, respectful, and supportive environment where patients can speak openly and feel confident about their next steps.
Her approach focuses on treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis. She uses evidence-based physical therapy techniques such as dry needling, cupping, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to create individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s goals, lifestyle, symptoms, and needs. By combining orthopedic physical therapy and pelvic health physical therapy, she helps patients improve function, reduce pain, restore strength, and rebuild confidence in their bodies.
Whether she is helping an athlete return to sport, a new mother recover after pregnancy, or someone find relief from longstanding pelvic pain, leaking, bowel dysfunction, or core weakness, Dr. Sam is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care that helps people move better, feel stronger, and get back to the life they want. If pain, pelvic floor symptoms, postpartum changes, or injury are holding you back, scheduling an appointment with Dr. Sam is a strong first step toward lasting recovery.
