Dr. Ken Bush
DPT
Owner, Physical Therapist
I grew up in central NY and earned my doctorate from Ithaca College. I moved to Colorado because I love mountains and the outdoors. I worked for three different companies where I gained a lot of experience working with an active population of patients, including professional and Olympic-level athletes. I became published on the topic of knee injuries for rehabilitation by working with other professionals regarding this topic. Throughout my career before starting No Limits, I’ve always had a passion for working with other professionals to offer the best treatments possible for my patients.
After earning my doctorate, I went on to study multiple topics, including, but not limited to, spinal manipulation, dry needling, custom orthotic fitting, bicycle fitting, nutrition, and the use of Pilates in PT.
Something I aim to address is helping patients overcome the obstacles that prevent them from achieving a better quality of life.
I hold the company accountable to our core values, driving the company to continually be better for the community we serve. I grow community relations with other providers and organizations, including our police department and local high schools. I also get to treat patients with a variety of conditions, helping them achieve their previous or better than previous level of function!
I have a hard time choosing which conditions I enjoy treating because the thing I’m most passionate about is helping people achieve a better quality of life, no matter the limits they feel they have at the time.
I love everything about working here… I love working with my team….. We have a great group of people who work hard and love to laugh. We are also fortunate to work with a supportive community of individuals who want to live a healthy life and are motivated to work for that.
Core Values
My core values are:
- Leadership: I believe in leading myself well to be an example for my kids and others.
- Servitude: The idea of leading myself well is balanced by giving of myself to help & serve others.
- Integrity: Who I am in the clinic is the same person my kids see at home, and others see in the community.
- Excellence: Every day, I want to be a better person than I was the day before.
Favorite QUOTE
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
